"The wrath continues..."

Films: Carrie (2002)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Good

Summary: You all remember that film where the girl with no friends turned out to be the deadliest human on the planet? Well, that story's being told again. And while it may feel a little samey...there are differences at least.

History: You know the story. Carrietta "Carrie" White is the local pariah of her school, and just about everyone takes time out of their lives to mock and belittle her. Key phrase being "just about". Well, the prom is coming up, she's got a date finally, there are those hoping to ruin her big night...and she's got some budding psychic powers. You know what happens next...

Notable Kills: The prom night massacre is as destructive as ever...but the effects department isn't, sadly.

Final Fate: After an absolute psychic rampage across town, Carrie comes to her senses...and lives after almost drowning. She and her friend Sue are now on the run...for reasons that never came to be. See the Trivia for more info.

Powers/Abilities: Carrie has a host of psychic powers that enable her to do all sorts of things, such as telekinesis and even stopping hearts.

Weakness: Anything conventional. Also, she's in something of a trance when using her powers, meaning that she doesn't have that much control.

Scariness Factor: 3-Carrie is still powerful enough to destroy everything, and does not spare those who really had it coming. But on the other hand, she's nowhere near as willingly homicidal as before, and the CGI used for a lot of her rampage leaves much to be desired.

Trivia: -This film was actually meant to be the pilot of a whole TV series, with Carrie on the run and meeting up with other psychic folks so that she may prevent another incident. Alas, it never came to be.

-Few people are proud of this film, especially due to its failure to starting that series. Stephen King wants nothing to do with it, and Carrie's own actress, Angela Bettis, rejected it three times before doing it just so that she could keep doing indie films while getting money from the series. Don't bring this film up to her, is what we're saying.

Her spa treatment left much to be desired.
Even here, she looks ready to end lives.
Again, we should have seen this coming.
